bluemystery13:

When people find out that you are depressed, attempted suicide, or self harm they always say things like, “Why didn’t you tell me?” or “You could have came to me” or “I’m here for you if you need me”

but if you actually open up about feeling depressed people are put off by it. Like why do we pretend like society hasn’t conditioned us to keep it to ourselves.

“Why is it so hard for you to talk about your feelings” because I’ve been conditioned to keep it to myself if I want to have friends or have a decent relationship with my parents
